30th Anthroponymy and Toponymy Conference: Past, Present and Future
The 30th Anthroponymy and Toponymy Conference has been postponed. It will now be held on 19th October 2022, from 5 to 8.30pm.
Call for Papers
The Onomastics Unit of the University of the Balearic Islands announces the 30th Anthroponymy and Toponymy Conference: Past, Present and Future, to be held on 19th October 2022 at the university campus. This year is the 30th anniversary of the onomastics conference series. The day will comprise a roundtable of experts who will look at the importance of the conferences for the area of onomastics, as well as present new current research.
Topics of the Papers
Papers must be unpublished presentations and be linked to the topics proposed by the Onomastics Unit: 'New Areas of Research in Onomastics' and 'General Onomastics'.
During the registration period for speakers prior to the event, researchers must submit the title of their paper and a maximum 200-word abstract to the Onomastics Unit (firstname.lastname@example.org).

The deadline for proposed papers is 12th October 2022.
Reception of attendees and opening speech by the authorities
'The contribution of the Anthroponymy and Toponymy Conferences of the University of the Balearic Islands to Catalan Onomastics', by Josep Ramon Santiago (Onomastics Unit technician).
